Meet the dogs behind Paw Rated

It all started with Arya

Arya loved an adventure. Woodland paths, sandy beaches, new places to explore—and, ideally, a welcoming pub somewhere along the way.

She inspired a love of exploring together that continues today with Marlee and Jessie, our two Golden Retrievers and current adventure companions.

Paw Rated is our way of sharing those discoveries and helping more dogs and their humans enjoy great days out together.

Because “dogs allowed” only tells half the story

Can your dog join you inside? Is there somewhere comfortable to settle? Are water bowls available? Will you feel genuinely welcome?

These are the details that can turn an ordinary stop into a brilliant day out. Our firsthand assessment framework considers the dog-friendly experience. Completed assessments will be published only when the required visit evidence is available.
